The Monterey Bay Rugby Association will promote youth rugby throughout the greater Monterey Bay region. We create community based rugby clubs that are accessible to all bodies, athletic abilities, and genders.

Our goal is to create a pathway to success by connecting elementary, middle, and high school students with college-age near peer mentors, through rugby.

Our long term goal is to promote student success through pathways to higher education and to discover talented local athletes to feed into the high performance pathway for the USA National Men's and Women's teams in the build up to the 2031 and 2033 Rugby World Cups (hosted here in the USA), respectively.

Our goal is to teach kids to play rugby safely, effectively, and in the most fun way possible. We believe in building the fundamental skills and movement required to play rugby, while building a growth mindset which will enable your kids to learn to acquire new skills throughout life. As the game develops and students mature we will introduce systems of play to help provide a framework for exploring their skills and working together as a team.

The Monterey Bay Rugby Association is accredited by World Rugby, USA Rugby, and NorCal Rugby.
